Let me know if people are playing today. I want to get out, hope that the rain stays away.

I'm planning to be there, even if there is a light rain.

No one but me was dumb enough to come out in the rain. ;D
Any interest in moving doubles next week to Crockett? Between weather and Father's Day we haven't played Crockett for doubles in a month of Sundays -- literally.
Besides, the lack of maintenance at Liberty is getting to be a bit of a drag over there.

Since there are only a few of us that come anyway I'm all for it.

I agree. I probably won't attend the liberty rounds until fall. Too many ticks and too much poison ivy there for me to enjoy my round. Hopefully the rest of the crew agrees.

Wow!! Due to the weather and other good distractions in my life, I've really missed the Sunday doubles. I too agree in that I'm laying off of Liberty until the ticks and underbrush are gone. With that said... I'll miss at least the next two Sundays due to July 4th festivities and going to the Madisonville, KY tourney the week after that. Come to think of it.. may miss the one after that too since I plan on going to the tourney down in Alabama around the 16th. I'll eventually return. Til then.. Blessings my DG friends!

the lack of maintenance at Liberty is getting to be a bit of a drag over there. I agree. I wouldn't be against sticking with Crockett for the rest of the summer! IMO, Liberty is just not much fun right now. One spends more time looking for (relatively well-thrown) discs than actually throwing them.

Weather permitting, I may be playing this later afternoon/ early evening @ Crockett with my little sidekick, so it'll be a stroller-pushing round. Probably just going to take it easy and toss some reds. A little something to get me out of the house.

I'll be out at Crockett tomorrow sometime. Want to get at least one round in, hopefully two. Had a great group this morning with Keith, Pete, Bryan and a couple of Keiths friends.
Always fun to get a group of people to play doubles or wolf.

Hopefully I'll be playing tomorrow (Friday) afternoon. May be out of town for the weekend though... time will tell. Had been coming to the course early to beat the heat with my sidekick... but got a thorn today between hole 12 and 13's basket. When I finished sealing the deal on #13 this morning, noticed a back stroller tire was dead flat. Gonna take it to a bicycle shop to get it fixed in the morning, but the toddler chariot may be sitting the bench for a little bit.

For those of you who have been avoiding Sharp Springs due to mosquitoes, I played it this morning and it was fine. The drier conditions lately have helped a lot.
