I played a round yesterday at CMC Glenwood Springs, CO with 2xVoodoo, 2xElement and 2x Assassin. Managed to shoot -8 on 18 holes with just these three molds.
I'm very excited about the Voodoo. This is my new putter.
The Elements are awesome. A little longer and easier to throw than my Rocs (yes, I know ... that's crazy for a true Roc lover to day) ... but man, what a great disc. I found them to be flippy if thrown hard ... and that's cool when you need it. I even threw a roller or two with them ... nice roller disc. I'll be getting a couple of E Elements and the new Warrior to round out my midrange needs.
The Assassin is pretty cool. It's a very good long range driver and I was throwing it almost as far as my Wraiths ... yet with some finesse it worked well on holes where I usually throw a Teebird. I'm going to try the Saber and Hybrid next.
Dave Mac at Gateway is sending me some other putters/mids/drivers to check out. I'll post feedback when I throw them.
I have to say, I tried throwing some Gateway a few years back and wasn't all that impressed. Maybe it's just that I've improved as a player [somewhat] and now know how to hold back on discs as well as use better technique for distance ... I don't know. I am pretty impressed with some of the latest gateway plastic ... and that was one thing I didn't like about the discs years ago. Who knows? I'm digging them right now. Maybe I'm just bored with my bag ... but it's fun.
