Has anyone heard of the rumor that 2 rivers disc golf course is closing down? Someone mentioned that to me yesterday during a round at Smyrna.

That rumor may have been crossed up with the news at Seven Oaks ---
Seems as though by next fall that Metro Parks is making Seven Oaks a PaytoPlay course. Complete with pro shop and full time rangers on site. Drug dogs, too.

WOW! Is this an attempt by the city to generate money for a course that is known to be very busy and they see $$ or an attempt to clean out the park of disc golfers or both? That is insane crazy! I've played that course literally hundreds or times and I could not imagine paying to play there. I love the fact that I just recently moved 1/2 mile from Sharp Springs in Smyrna. That rumor may have been crossed up with the news at Seven Oaks --- Seems as though by next fall that Metro Parks is making Seven Oaks a PaytoPlay course. What's worse about 7Oaks charging to play is they won't allow people to play without specifically sanctioned 7Oaks discs. Those only include Whamo's Epic, the Juju putter, and 90 gram giveaways from local bank openings. Par has been appropriately increased to 133. Tee times may be reserved up to six months in advance, and carts are highly encouraged. Not golf carts, mind you. Go-carts. Which are allowed to race around the baskets, so long as they don't drop below 55 MPH, at which point Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock will explode.
If you want Rumours to continue, I highly recommend dropping this one about 7Oaks in favor of Fleetwood Mac.

Ha. I meant to pull everyone's chain, but I thought my post was quite transparent.
I was just starting another rumor. Of course 7 Oaks isn't going ptp.
Rumors are a hoot.
