Alabama Amateur Team Championship - PDGA XB tier event 7/16/11 Huntsville, AL courses TBD entry $25 per player
Teams of 3-5 players
2 rounds of Singles play with lowest 3 scores per team counting toward team toal each round.
Trophies will be awarded to winning team and low individual scorer.
All individual scores will be reported in the Advanced division. With all players in the highest Am division and this being a B tier event, players who play well will be awarded a very large number of player points.
Open to everyone who is eligible to play Advanced, we want to give a special invatations to Pro players rated under 970.
Play with your friends and see how you measure up to the competition.
There will be no payout, all players will be given a $25 pick your own players pack. We will be placing a large order with Innova before this event so there will be plenty to chose from.
This is a fundraiser for the 2011 Southern Nationals Pro Championship.

This sounds like fun. Who wants to go? Besides, I've never played the Huntsville TBD course. Ron Most likely UAH in the morning, Mastin Lake in the afternoon. Ron, when you told me you needed PDGA points for Worlds, I knew this would be an event you would want to play.

Let's do this. Ron and Ryan are in.
As soon as they nail down the courses and the times we can figure out carpool, etc. More than one team is ok, too. Looks like we can have as few as 3 on a team or as many as 5. They might let us have 6 counting Ryan.

I do have approval and would like to participate . . . wife and kids may also spend the day in Huntsville at the Space Center . . . if so, I would probably meet at the course, but then (if they get bored quickly and leave) may need to take advantage of the carpool home.
I'll try to get this all firmed up soon . . .

The courses have been selected forv this event.
UAH in the morning, Mastin Lake in the afternoon.
Registration will be 7:45 - 8:45 at UAH. Players meeting 9:00 Second round at least one hour after the completion of the first round.
If you do not have a team, come on to the tournament. We will find a team for you to play with.
