We finished 8 courses by 8:05 pm. Tentative results:
Grant: 484 Cameron: 489 Richard: 493 Dave: 511
Because we played 20 holes at Liberty, we played a total of 146 holes, so par was 438.
I did something wrong: I was writing down the scores most of the time, but I still lost. I guess I forgot to shave.

Sincerely missed it and look forward to participating again next year. Glad to see it went well.

Could've sworn there was a thread about the Crazy 8s for this summer. June 8, if I'm not mistaken. Still waiting to hear anyone's call for Fontanel or which course becomes #8.
Sounded like quite a bit of interest this year too. How many are we looking at? I got clearance to play as my big birthday gift, so I'm in.

1. I continue hearing good things about the new Fontanel. Good enough to promote it over Smith Springs? Dunno. Throwing over fishers and sunbathers on the water holes is a little disconcerting. 2. How big a crew are we looking at this year? I know the one year we had a mob out there and it slowed us down to Crazy 7s. Should there be a cutoff number? (This is the part where someone says the number is one less than what would include me.) 3. When and where are we starting?
It's still two months off and I'm already giddy about this stupidity.

I don no nuttin bout the 8, but can describe the Font. The changes from the old to new seem to be quite dramatic. I was told that only 2 or 3 of the old holes survived the remodel. Hilly and steep in some places, Steep and hilly in others. I know for a fact that while Ryan could throw the holes -- I am unsure if he could navigate between the holes. I isn't a turnoff, it is just the way it is. Long. Shusterick long. I looks as if it was designed by someone who could throw 500' . I loved the holes. Well shaped, fair fairways. I am not sure of the current length, but guess it to be 7k +. Oh, and sooner than later, they are moving several targets to an even longer position. Right now, there seem to be 3 or 4 legitimate par 4's, I expect more and eventually some 5's to come. Before you make this an 8 course, you need to play it. It won't be a very fast one, IMO. Keith has played it. He is free to add to and/or change anything I have to say. He was on the course for over 4 hours on a recent Music City event. He is now the expert. Ron
