That's cool, Thanks for sharing!
Hmmmm......
Makes me wonder what a disc eyes view of flying from teepad to (over) basket on every hole on a course would be like?
Hey..... just saying.
Best, Woody

I was actually seriously thinking of doing this early one morning. Make a good overview video of the course and each basket.

Micheal, Cool video. And anyone who agrees with Woody must be very, very smart.
If you do the hole by hole flyover it would be most appreciated. We would add the link to our page, PDGA, and DGCR. I suggest doing the white tees. If you want help with hole descriptions, length and par, let me know. Thanks, Ron

If you would like to send me over some info on lengths and pars I'd be happy to try and include that in the final video. thanks! -Michael mikeisi@AOL.com

I will send par, length, and short description. What placements were up when the video was shot? 7,9,12, and 17 were recently moved. I am on vacation now, but will hit it next week.

Woody sez: Life's a roller coaster & sometimes you just have to fall back & punt (or at least hit the reset button).
OTOH: I'm glad to see the comments/questions from new arrivals in this area regarding any news or updates about the status of new courses. Didja' ever notice how after the springtime rains mushrooms just magically appear? Well, new disc golf courses......... DON'T.
Although a disc golf course may not look like much there's really more than meets the eye. Time & Efforts of thought, meetings, planning, layout, work, volunteerism, work, culminate in a new course + pride of ownership. Did I mention work? The Williamson County Disc Golf Club has been very involved with todays Crockett & Liberty Parks courses.
If you live in this area, enjoy playing these courses which didn't even exist not long ago & would like to play some new courses I highly suggest playing with the Club on the Sunday Fun Dubbles at 2pm. There is a schedule posted. It's low pressure/high Fun & you will meet the guys. A great way to get involved especially if you'd like some new courses in Spring Hill, Thompson Station or Franklin. The Club members would be happy to meet you! (just ask Ron)

It was just recently so 7, 9, 12 and 17 were all in their most recently new locations when I filmed. I thought it was funny that the one time I film, 12 and 17 are in totally new locations. (at least for my wife and I). we've played crockett since 2007 I think and I never remember seeing 12 or 17 where they are. I like it though. I tried to film most of them from the white tees but a couple were a little difficult to get my Phantom (quad copter) all the way back where it was safe from trees and I just couldn't get a good shot so I just did the red on a few. -Michael

Hello MichaelMitchell, I was wondering if you ever completed your flyover view of each hole at Crockett. Maybe you posted it somewhere I'm unaware of? If'n you could post the link here that would be wonderful as I'm sure many of us would enjoy viewing it. Help cope with the Winter doldrums & Spring anticipation!
Thanks, Woody
