We understand that this is a community that will be used by a number of different people. To be respectful to all views we must ask everyone to abide by the following rules.
I. Rules
1. You are expected to read and be familiar with the Rules.
Failure to abide by the rules will result in warnings and bans.
2. The following items are prohibited:
- Pornography or sexual material of any kind. Period!!
- Links to illegal files (music, warez, CD cracks/codes, etc...)
- Hate speech in any form (including racism, sexism, etc...)
- Profanity, especially in subject lines (You all know the ones)
- Spam, scams, or commercial messages
The moderators reserve the right to decide what qualifies as “spam.”
3. No profanity or sexual material in Topics or Icons
Keep the dirty language to a minimum.
4. Williamson County Disc Golf reserves the right to terminate or ban an account at any time, for any reason, without warning, notification, or explanation.

II. Forum Etiquette
These items are not law, but rather suggestions. It's best to abide these so everyone has a similar attitude and don't clash on views/actions. Do not threaten or make mods and admins sound like they are to be reckoned with. However, we are not promoting that you need to suck up to them and be their friend. Lastly, always stick to the rules.
1. Pointing out Spelling/Grammar errors isn’t necessary.
The best way to improve the overall presentation of the forums is not to post in every poorly written thread complaining about it. Instead, practice what you preach: try to write reasoned, well-thought out, well-written posts.
2. Post count, length of time on the forums, or any other means of measurement does not absolve you of responsibility.
If anything, we expect long-term members to behave in a more mature fashion, and help make these forums a great place for discussion with disc golfers!
3. You’re not a moderator.
So there’s no need to post in someone’s topic saying “This will be closed soon!” or “why did you write this?” or demanding that the moderators close the topic or ban the member. In fact, this is one of the quickest and easiest ways to get on the moderators’ bad sides. There’s nothing more unpleasant than having someone else tell you how to do your job. Do not post in topics you are sure that will get closed, either, otherwise you are considered to be spamming.
If someone is being exceedingly disruptive, feel free to bring it to a moderator’s attention via private messaging or email, but never in a topic.
4. You do not have the right to insult/attack/etc someone for ANY reason.
People are going to ask questions that have already been asked, bring up topics that have already been discussed, and so forth. These things happen. If you’re not interested in the topic at hand, simply don’t post!
5. Try to stay on topic.
