One round at One O'clock!!
Flyer will be posted later (by those wise enough to do it).
This is your chance to invest in the local course and club.
$10
Gets you a 2008 WCDGC Bag Tag
And
2008 Club Membership
BTW, if you are one of our Start Up Fund Investors during 2007, you are already on the list to receive a 2008 Tag.
For those new to the business of bag tags, I found this on Ronipedia:
Cute little tags that are numbered 1-100 are issued at the beginning of each year. Players keep them on their bag. (Actually ours will be a karabiner -- easy to clip on and will hold other stuff).
The goal of each player is to get a lower numbered tag by challenging other players; both during casual rounds and tournament play. Most clubs have a bunch of rules about challenges and stuff, but basically if you get beat by someone with a higher numbered tag – you swap tags. The bigger the player group--- the more tag shuffling. The only way for a round to NOT COUNT would be things like: wife called you home, grand mal seizure, and a class 5 hurricane. Play on.
See you on the course, Ron

I'm in! Is it a show up at 12:30 or do people need to pre-register (beyond saying "I'm in!" on this website)?

Mark, I WISH that you and I were in contention for #1. Got some mutants coming, too.
You know that my tournament goals are simple; Break no bones, lose no discs, don't be DDL (doo-doo last). I am usually succcesful.
But, now that you brought it up ---- If I have to whoop you one more time, just for some peace and quiet -- Saturday seems like a fine day to do so.

being that your hearing isn't that good, and the rest of you is breaking down as well, it shouldn't be a problem putting a whooping on you, i'll feel bad about it....but only for a minute it will be great to see you and the big R man again

OK, I will admit -- I had a moment of weakness about 7pm. Thought I should pull a "Williamson County school" move and shut it down.
But...
By 1pm it will only be mud. I got boots!
Let's play gentlemen.
