Hi all, I've been in Nashville for about 2 years now, but have only played DG once since I've been here (Seven Oaks). Thinking I was going to be very involved in DG down here (and before I found a few other sites), I created a disc golf site for Nashville ( www.NashvilleDiscGolf.com or www.MusicCityDiscGolf.com ). Every once in a while I receive an e-mail from someone who is coming to the area (for work/vacation) and wants to know where he/she should play. Not knowing the courses, I'm not much help. I will definitely refer them to this site and the others I have found, however to get them started, does anyone have any suggestions? Most people are either staying downtown or at Opryland. I realize this is "Williamson County Disc Golf," however it seems to be the most active and best local site. Thanks! Maybe one day I'll make it back out on a course and get the site moving again...

If they are staying downtown, then they are about an equal distance to Crockett Park in Brentwood, or Seven Oaks. If they are staying by the airport, then Seven Oaks makes the most sense.

If they are staying at Opryland, they are very close to Two Rivers (it's by the waterslide, across Two Rivers Parkway from the ball golf course, just south of Opryland). It's a fairly easy, open course.
If they want a more challenging course, Cedar Hill is a little ways north. Go up 65 to Old Hickory, then go about a quarter mile west, and the park is on the right.

For a 2-Day conference, I suggest ditching the sucker and declaring it a golf holiday. 1st Day - Cedar Hill and Hendersonville (Saunders Ferry) 2nd Day - Smyrna (Sharp Spings) and Crockett.
Let me know if you need travel details for a 3-Day conference.

Thanks guys, really appreciate it! I believe they are in town for the "international barbershop quartet competition" I'll pass it along
