Last Sunday at Crockett was a real sogger But I did notice 2 cheer me up joggers Ron Pittman, Jim Becker threw like real champs Ryan was mad cuz' his shoes got so damp Shoulda' stayed home, watched football and drank lager!
Seven Super Sunday Souls wanted more Fun Crockett competition despite lack of sun Some throws good, some went bad there's no doubt Several putts that went in then went out Such a goood time it didn't matter who won!
The birthday boy round with Scott P. (so many Scotts & Daves!)reminded me of this limerick. It was posted in "who's playing where & when" but I decided might as well retrieve it & add it to the pile. I am a big fan of birthday golf & many times have taken the day off from work to play ALL day long.
If you have been around a while you can guess who ( ? ) is. The blue boys were Ron & RD. Some rumors about 'heat seeking bonding' leaked out about that round. LOL!!
( ? ) announced then no showed HIS birthday round To stay home warm in his bed safe and sound But two players true and quite blue Stepped up to the plate and then threw For the Wuss ( on the course he's seldom found )!
To my utter dismay lately did I see Empty Bud cans laying on several Tees If Iron Eyes Cody saw it he would shed a tear Not to mention you have terrible taste in your beer Don't litter or stay away from Liberty!
There once was an Irish man by name of Patrick Whose shamrock symbol, the original hat-trick He taught of the Holy Trinity From snakeless glen to emerald sea Now he's a Saint where they love golf with balls and stick!
Sunday the 18th WILL indeed be the BIG day Cause at 2 @ Crockett I WON'T be there to play My wife and I have an all afternoon/evening date Time to ourselves without our kids is very rare of late So throw one for me and have fun whilst I'm away!
