The birthday boy round with Scott P. (so many Scotts & Daves!)reminded me of this limerick. It was posted in "who's playing where & when" but I decided might as well retrieve it & add it to the pile. I am a big fan of birthday golf & many times have taken the day off from work to play ALL day long.
If you have been around a while you can guess who ( ? ) is. The blue boys were Ron & RD. Some rumors about 'heat seeking bonding' leaked out about that round. LOL!!
Party Pooper
( ? ) announced then no showed HIS birthday round To stay home warm in his bed safe and sound But two players true and quite blue Stepped up to the plate and then threw For the Wuss ( on the course he's seldom found )!

I ran across this one in a collection.
There was a young man from the city who met what he thought was a kitty. He gave it a pat and said, "Nice little cat!" They buried his clothes out of pity.

My wife said, "You just have no inkling of how lonely weekends are stinking. So spend time with me, or else choose DG." "Just a minute," I said, "I'm still thinking."
