Myself and a buddy of mine are planning on playing Crockett this weekend and were wondering if the course is set up like tournament day. Also he'll be playing Rec and I'll be in Int. Are there different pads for both of us? Looking forward to this. I haven't played Crockett in 3-4 years. In what ways has it changed?

Rec division will be playing RED tees Int will be playing WHITE tees. We are in the process of making a couple tweaks to a couple holes. Most of the pins are set. You will notice 12 is in the loooooong position. During the event, we will have BOTH positions in so red tee players will hole out in the cave, white tee players play to the long. This will also be the set up on hole 4. The other tweaks are in the works and not completly final, but they do involve hole 13 and 18.....look for the changes to be in place for the final two workdays (feb 11th &18th) for practice. Come on out this Saturday and help us spread some mulch, you"ll may get some more details, and you can go ahead and PRE-REG

We're coming from Athens, AL and plan on playing Henry Horton as well on the way home. Don't know if we have time for mulch. We'll probably prereg online. Looking forward to it.

I'm not sure what division to register for. I usualy score around 60 from the reds...suggestions? Hey FJ, 60 from the reds puts you rather solid in Rec division. Click on our main website www.wcdgc.com/and follow the tournament/ past scores link You can see what others shot at previous events at Crockett. I would guess the average scores to be 1-2 strokes higher on this event --- just because over time courses get beat in more, and yukky shots tend to be more recoverable. Our setup for this event is roughly comparable to previous setups. No real change there. Hope to see you there. Ron

Thanks. I didn't realize that information was there. Consider me regisstered! Looking forward to seeing the tournament course.
I have to admit, though, I was hoping reds would play the long basket on 12 as well. Makes for a fun hole. Based on RD's post looks like we will be playing the cave? Either way, excited about the tournament.

51 total spots remain.
37 Premium Players packs are spoken for (only 13 remain!!!!) All others will still get a small pack (coupons/handwarmers)
keep those entrys coming in, were on pace to sell out by the pre-reg deadline.
The course is looking awesome, all pins are in tourney position (excluding 9, which will move under the tower and 18, which will play to 9's long position) hole 13 is flagged as it will be an island green (will be clearly roped for the event) and a drop zone is flagged, pin high just off to the left side of the road.
25 days to go, see yall soon!!!

I won't be playing in the tournament anymore. I broke my fibula in two places last week. If you need any help with adding up scores or anything else that doesn't require walking on tournament day, I would be glad to come out and help.

Hope you have a speedy recovery. Your very loyal to this club, if you would like to switch your entry fee into hole sponsorship ("learn to drive with your putter"), I'd be glad to offer you a players pack in return. If your able to come help out, that decision is up to you. Your help will be much appreciated. You can man the fort at tourney central while I'm roaming the course during the rounds.
