I have an answer. I heard 1:40. We started at 1:40.
I understand you were among the 3 or 4 who started the round later than 1:40. I am sorry that you misunderstood the part about 1:40pm. And I am sorry that you are not happy.
Odds are pretty good that there is nothing we could say/explain/etc to make you non unhappy. I regret that.
If you want to have further discussion, I suggest PM to me or RD.
Ron

1:40 can't be true cause we were running to our holes at 1:35 and I stated at least they haven't sounded the 2 minute warning to which was responded; the round has already started. Why a 30-45 min lunch? Why no shirt size with pre-reg? I'm not upset. I was at 1:40 or 1:45 but I'm calm now. I would just like a reasonable explanation that's all. You guys ran a great tourney just a few flaws I seen and those "flaws" affected me and a few others. It's what would call a common courtesy.

So my payout isnt working on dynamic discs any ideas why?[/quote ] Good question. The fine folks from DD will report to work on Monday. At wich time we will send them all of the codes. They asked for a few hours to set up the codes online. RD said the codes will be up and running possibly by Tue, for sure by Wed. The DD payout is a new adventure for our club. We hope folks like it. Pick your own ---- online.

RD is on the move. He has results up already. www.pdga.com/tournament_results/79726Ratings are not yet showing up for the Red tee divisions. It takes 5 propagators to generate ratings. You have to have 8 rounds and a rating above 799 to be a propagator. This will fix itself as these players play more events. Just not enough data right now. Treat the last paragraph like a wiki. If you know more, jump in. Here is a PDGA faq -- click ratings. www.pdga.com/faqAs you may know, the PDGA no longer makes course history SSA publicly available. Apparently they don't want that data available free to smartphone app creators. Or so I heard. That said, it looks like the first round was just a touch over 56 and the second round was just a touch above 55. Long layout and a goofy wind. Go figure. Ron

I just want to say I think you guys did an awesome job...the tournament was well organized and professional and the course was in great shape! And for the record we started round two at exactly 1:45 - I know this because when the horn sounded I looked at my phone and commented to the group that we were right on time. Thanks to all involved!

What's done is done but I have to disagree. We pulled in the parking lot at 1:35 and there is no way it took me 10-15 minutes to run to Hole 9. My group was supposed to start on 8 and when I arrived they had already finished the hole and were just arriving at 9. I would just like a reasonable explanation for such a short lunch and a lack of preparation on shirts sizes seeing as it was a pre-registration event. I was looking forward to this event after the fall tournament last year and it's really making me consider whether or not I make the trip back for any more tournaments. Maybe the shirts were because of the last minute change on payout/players pack provider and if that's the case it's fine. I understand...but a 35 minute lunch? Seriously...If time was the problem perhaps the course shouldn't have been setup in a 4 hour long format during such short daylight hours. A lot of things to consider next time. Just saying...
I had a great time, despite the aforementioned problems. Great company, good weather. One couldn't have asked for much more.

There are at least two reasons we won't have this discussion on this board: *Sadly enough there is no investment or knowledge required to participate in the discussion. As general rule the public discussion forum is a horrible place to find resolution. It seldom delivers such an outcome. Drama and disc golf make horrible partners. There aren't enough of us to be picking sides.
* We are all grown men. This discussion can be had over the phone, email, or lunch. rondpitt at gmail dot com is a fine place to start. Just like the fender-bender on the side streets --- move on to something else ---nothing to see here. Ron Pittman

How much food and money did for collect and raise for the food bank? Still working those figures Bill...We hope near a cool grand. No food was donated. It will def be posted once we have a final. Big thanks to everyone who came out. I now know how much goes in to running an event. Without all the help of the volunteers and club members, it just would not have happened. period. Dave, Richard, and Matt especially for giving up most if not all of your day to help spot, run food, and man the fort. besides a few glitches, which are gonna happen at every event. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Congrats to all the winners....WCDGC represented well in the win column. I will be sending in the codes this morning to dynamic discs. Look for activation either later today or at least by noon on the 28th. Thanks again. Se yall at the next one!

Who wants to be in charge of gathering Tournament Pix up from our volunteers and players? We need someone smart enough to set them up on some sharing link -- that we can post on our websites. Ahhh.. I got nothing. Ron

I'll be happy to be the clearinghouse for pictures. I'll post them to the WCDGC facebook page, and tag anyone I recognize.
Anyone who wants to send pictures can send them to my gmail account: bryan dot andrew dot weaver at gmail dot com. If you know who the picture is of, let me know that too. If you took *lots* of pictures, please don't send them all -- just the good ones.
Once there are some pictures up in a facebook album, I'll post a link to the album here.
Please note I corrected my email address at 5:09. If you sent anything prior to 5:10 on Monday, you probably sent it to the wrong address. Sorry 'bout that.
