Looks like everyone is enjoying there payouts, I'm hearing good words wbout how smooth its going. Glad to hear it. We had our tourney wrap up meeting last night. I have a couple more things to do with the TD report and it will then be sent to the PDGA, maybe in time for next ratings? We discussed a the good and the bad about the tourney and we learned from a couple mistakes and we will strive to make the next one even better. (Ron has an awesome plan in the works folks) The club is very strong right now, we are growing and the future is bright. So once again I would like to thank EVERYONE that was involved from the players to the volunteers to the club board to the city to all the sponsors to the man upstairs who despite some "swirling" winds gave us a wonderful day weatherwise too. So now, the moment we've all be waiting for..........the grand total of this years donation to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is.............. $1,100 ;D Congrats to all, we did a great job....looking forward to the next one!

Before the most recent ratings update, my [unofficial] round ratings for the Ice Bowl were 912 & 899 (I shot the same score both rounds). . . after the update, it shows 906 for each round.
Do they now average the round ratings for a tournament? They haven't changed this way in the past . . .

MOST unusual for two different rounds to have the same SSA --- but, I guess it could happen Are you saying they averaged them somehow? Ron

Are you saying they averaged them somehow? Ron Not saying they did . . . just wondering if they did . . . 906 is the [rounded] average of 899 & 912. . . . and if not, wondering what other calculations were made to the official scores to make the round ratings change . . . Did you happen to notice if your rounds were both rated 933 before the update?

Ah. I looked at the scoring. You shot the same score both rounds. I did the same. What changed from temp to permanent ratings is that by the time the official ratings were done it just shook out to have similar SSA's for both rounds. It is almost statistically impossible for them to be exactly the same (in hundredths) , but rather feasible that they would shake out to be the same whole number.
