Thanks for watching and updating the folks there Cameron. And yes, Ron and I had pretty good first rounds and not so good second rounds. The Angry Beaver (a course which most certainly lives up to it's name with a par of 63), ate my lunch. Our pools are playing the most wooded and technical in the tourney. They're not super long, just MAJOR woods. As for my second round, playing in heavy rain and then a 1 hour delay before we could finish the last two holes, requires extreme concentration and focus. Both of which I lost! Oh well... it happens!
Aside from that, having a great time and meeting folks from all over the world. Over 47 states are represented along with 13 countries. Major Cool!!
Ron and I have 1 round each today. Ron's playing the morning round at Reddy Creek and then I will play it this afternoon. Please pray the rain and afternoon thunder storms holds off.
Thanks again Cameron. BTW, Adam Drake and Shane Cline are both playing in the advance. Big Andy and Will are in the Pros.
Blessings,
Keith

Hey guys! I am having a blast. Some great courses.
Sure wish I could have yesterday afternoon back. Choked bad. Dropped real bad.
I was hoping to be in the top 20. Already blew the chance for anything stronger. Sitting tied for 26 now, But still waiting on Keith's pool to be posted. Today was respectable. I climbed a few spots.
I'm on the hunt tomorrow for some serious moving up.
later, Ron

Hey! Glad you guys are having fun! . . . and it looks like Keith got moved into the 'R' pool? That'll make the carpooling easier! ;D
Looks like pretty solid rounds at Reedy Creek today for our linksters . . . 58 for Mr Pittman, 62 for Mr Mason
Top 20? You're only 8 strokes out of the top ten, Ron! . . . 3 rounds to go . . .

After making it to the R pool by the skin of my discs (#72/4th on card 18), I failed miserably in my round this morning. I did move up one spot because another poor soul did much worse. Must say that after 2 practice rounds on Sat., Sun., Mon., and then 2 Tourney rounds Tue., then 1 Wed., and 1 today, focus and concentration is difficult. But regardless, I'm having one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Great fellow players and amazing courses. Lord wiling, I will do this again. But no time too soon! I can't edit to get back to work do I can rest. :-)

No I haven't stopped watching . . .
Keith held his position in the 'R' pool throughout the week and finished his six rounds at +51. Way to go Keith!! Sounds like a memorable experience to be sure.
Ron slipped just a bit in the final round at Reedy Creek, but finished the week at +17 and made it to round 7! . . . probably finishing up that round right about now . . .

So with a solid 58 in the semis, Ron finishes at +19 and goes home with $120 in winnings for 27th place.
Great job both of you! Thanks for letting me live vicariously through you this week. ;D

I had a blast. I played 17 rounds on 6 new courses. Fantasy week for sure.
The competition this year was notches above what I saw in Kansas City. The old fart division keeps getting bigger (and I keep getting older, ha) Some strong golfers.
After blowing both of my afternoon rounds --- I wish that I had been in better shape. Fatigue has got to share some of the burden. I ran out of gas on Tuesday --- and from the look of my score --- was running on fumes only.
I had 5 or 6 holes at the beginning of my round on Friday that I had another version of the a-fib issue. I was quite successful in scaring me and my cardmates a bit. No whining, but I sure bleed off the strokes. After I recovered (the ticker got back in rhythm) I had a blast and played some of my best golf of the week. One of the caddies asked me if I took a nitro pill? Ha.
Tuesday night players meeting was epic. 14 countries represented , over 1100 players, and about 200 staff and volunteers ---- Disc Golfers!! in one room!!
Fly mart was kewl, but sorta' week. I had expected more.
The Friday night players party was super well done, but poorly atttended because a lot of pools finished so late due to rain delays.
Ams in Somewhere, Kansas next year. Not sure about 2014 yet.
