While Cameron provides valuable advice that would suit you well 99% of the time, I happen to be in the 1% this round. Sunday, March 18 = 3rd Sunday of the month = Liberty doubles. (Something about blind pigs and truffles.)

I know that some of the regulars are in Bowling Green (best of luck, guys!), but who is planning to be at Sunday doubles this week? I've got a couple of my friends lined up to join us at Liberty, so I'm curious about what the turnout will be.

Doubles at Crockett all month The group of us at the bag tag round this past Sunday made the executive decision to not play doubles at Liberty this month. Hopefully there will be some trimming done and we can go back there before the summer is out, but for the short term we are going to stay away.
So, for the month of May 2012 - doubles at Crockett 2pm every Sunday. We will reassess at the end of the month.

While the ticks at Liberty may not appreciate our switch, my children and I certainly do.

While the ticks at Liberty may not appreciate our switch, my children and I certainly do. While I am not a TickFan either, this has more to do with the overgrown undergrowth (wordplay alert). It has become most unwelcoming. We saw this for a month or 2 last summer, but the early/healthy spring has caused the little shrub-y stuff to be waist high--- already. Not good. We will be working with the city for some kind of solution. Ron

I will be there this weekend for my son's baseball tournament and was wanting to get a few rounds in between games.

Stellar day of golf at Crockett - Bryan & Adam shot -2, Miles and I shot -4, and Matt & Jack shot -8 !!!! They birdied 2,3,4,5,8,14,15, & 17. That's right . . . 4 & 17 !!! Great round you two!
Here's the rule in question Matt . . .
In other words, nothing outside the stance or run-up area can ever be moved. Something which is entirely in front of the lie is certainly not in the stance or run-up area.

While I don't think the conditions are that bad, there has not been any trimming done yet . . . and they are in the process (but not completely done) with spreading new mulch, so there are large piles of it here and there in the fairways. I'm making the assumption that most golfers would prefer to stay at Crockett again this month. Is it too late to make that call for today though?? . . .

Given that we were all CP last month I suspect that anyone inclined to come would be able to check the boards, or at least call someone who does. See you at Crockett at 2:00.

What heat?
I hope to see several of you non-wusses for Sunday doubles. Yes, we are still at Crockett this week.
I will have club inventory with me.
BTW, we will change back to Liberty on 1st and 3rd Sundays starting in July. The undergrowth is dying, it has shade, and OFF needs the business.
