The cutting out of the fairways are about 90% finished. The contractor is still working on a handfull of trees, the areas around each tee and target, and some overhead stuff.
The design team adjusted several things last Saturday --- and I have walked the project with the contractor and the city since then. It is looking real nice and going very well.
The design team got to sorta' throw 3 or 4 holes. Still waiting on the aforementioned clearing. All in all -- We think you are going to like this course.
Right now they are working on the BroadStrokes. Going to be some time before it looks "park- like".
When the clearing is finished, the design team will re-mark the exact location of the tee pads. They should get poured in a few weeks.
Not sure about the schedule for sleeves and targets. I will find out, tho.
NEED HELP!!!
It is almost time to work on tee signs. I am looking for someone to help me; 1. Sketch each hole; tee - fairway - target - obstacles. 2. Transfer to PC graphic package. 3. Make CD for sign shop.
Next week would be a good time to start!!
If you can do it, call me at Three seven seven -- two three three seven.
Thanks, Ron
BTW, Unless you are on the design team, please wait to go up there for a few more weeks. (You won't be able to discern the hole order anyway) The contractor has a lot going on and has asked to keep onlookers off the site.
This update is a courtesy to area players, not yet an invitation to go play.
Be thou patient. Soon. Very soon.
