Hey everyone. I'm getting closer to completing the new and improved tndiscgolf.com, we haven't switched the domain over yet, so for now go here ... mtdga.sports.officelive.com/Crockett.aspxand check out the slideshow of your great park I added today, and almost all of the parks in the area. Ron, if there is any information you want me to include, just send it my way and I'll drop it in the comments under the picture. I'm still waiting on the full TN tour schedule to get that posted and I'll be sure to hype up everyones events as they draw near.

Suh--weeeet!
You outdid yourself.
And you owe me a keyboard. I spit Coke all over mine when I read the "beautiful tree" tag on #6.

Ha! Yea, well a wordsmith I am not. I'm am glad you approve Ron. I know so many people like you put alot of time and effort into creating and maintaining all of the courses, I just wanted to give everybody a chance to see what they are missing out on if they haven't made the rounds in our area. Once the site is finished, I'll print out some flyer/tear off sheets like you used to see at landromats bullitan boards with the sites address on it. That way if someone looks at the board, they can tear one off and hopefully actually remember to look at our site before they wash that scrap of paper with their jeans :-)

Craig, Your tour is better than 95% of what is out there. BG, KC, Huntsville, etc need to see this.
BTW, send me your email. I don't have it.

Oh, and something hinky is happening when the MTDGA forum page loads. Shuts down IE. ??

Thanks, I spent a little while getting this going(after my real job of course). The best thing is that because I went through Microsoft, the site is completely free for us, so the club gets to save a few bucks. The other thing I really want to add is a "Tips from the Pros" page where I can have a 2 or 3 paragraph topic that our best players discuss. Who in this area doesn't want to hear what Jackie Logan, Mountian Man Dan, Rodney Goad, or any of the great pros we have think about an aspect of the game. Mental toughness, Shot selection, Learning your Discs, and on and on. We could build an archive of good information, and web sites are all about content. As cool as the course tours are, they are just one piece of what we could have. We have alot of really good resources around here. I just want to share them.
I had an issue with the forum loading, but it worked the very next time I tried. That is them not us, and since its free too, I can't really fuss too much :-)

Great job, by the way. It looks really clean.

Also i have noticed on other forums that each course has its own "thread" i guess. so you can easily see whats going on at each one, rather than sifting through pages to see whats going on at your favorites............might be an easy add for you computer gurus. for examples see the atlanta club or BG club forums.
just a thought....... thanks again

Thats right Jeff, the club has owned that name for a few years now and re-ups every year for a small fee.
RD, you should contact Thomas via the "about us" page with your suggestion. The forum is external to the site, I just link to it for everyone's convienence. I believe he is admin there :-) so he can add threads if he likes your idea.
Thanks again for the kind words everyone, we have had 67 unique visitors already this week. I am really proud.

Nice job slowroll ... now I can take the virtual tour from Colorado! Love it. Wish I was there playing today ... we've had snow the last 3-4 days. Good news is it's all been melting by the end of the day and the glaciers are receding more everyday. Can't wait to play in grass again!
