Course Prep for the CCC Tournament - Who Will?
The 2nd Annual Crockett Charity Classic is just around the corner. Saturday, April 25th.
We have a few things to do to get the course ready. It is likely we will fill up with 90 players AND we will have several guests from the Down Syndome Association of Middle Tennessee.
No particular workday or time needed. Just sorta' on your own. Find something that fits with your schedule and take care of it.
Who Will?
1. Replace a few screwed up carpet tee pads?
2. Pick up all of the old red and white 4x4 tee markers and get them to Mike Bobo's barn? He is offering to store them for the next course.
3. Replace/repair all of the "Next Tee" signs hanging from the targets? We have supplies.
4. Pick up limbs and sticks on some of the holes? Listed by priority: a. 10 b. 17 c. 6,7,8
5. Check all of the wood holes and start/finish wood holes for TripAndFall stumps? Axe or mattock works great. Pick a hole or 3 #'s 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 17
6. Re-dig the water control ditch to the right of White Tee #3? Run off is jumping the ditch and trashing the tee pad.
7. Prune and saw limbs on the new par 4 placements for #2, 4 and 5. Weekday, weeknight, weekend. Ron will show you where. (stubborn, ain't I?)
That ought to hold us for a couple of weeks.
Thanks, Ron

Still have a handful of things to do on the course. And since it is sometimes embarrassing for some folks to be playing a round and come up on me working by butt off ----- I thought I would give you a heads up.
This Saturday, April 18th, 10am -noon. Volunteer work session at Crockett. Rain or shine. Oh!! And I plan to play after a lunch break. Got tag 13.
The list isn't too bad actually * Move some targets * fix some next tee signs * repair the OB on 13 * change out the carpet on a few pads * fix the drainage on 3. Shovels and gloves. That's the have-to's. If you know of any other things that need to be done, holler and we will add it to the list. Thanks,
Ron
