What is next on the list of things to do
This week. June 4-8. Call me if you can do some of this stuff in the middle of the week.
1. Make some more temporary tee markers (white and red) out of scraps, etc. Inventory the course to see how many got mowed down.
2. Install temporary tee markers. I have a measuring wheel and distance notes so we can get them close to original.
3. Set sleeves for 11A and 16. (I checked on them today. I plan to do this myself on Monday afternoon.)
4. Get homemade number plates and next tee arrows ready for Saturday. (as far as I know, I have this covered. I think)
5. Since there is a chance that one of our original 9 targets is missing, misplaced, or stolen --- (I am in progress with parks people) then someone needs to assemble the 10th basket that is in the parks storage shed. I can hook you up.
Saturday. Time set at 9am. Play the course afterwards. Will alter time if weather looks goofy.
1. Haul the baskets from parks storage and unlock the ones on the original rec course and install in our new placements.
10. B short, A long needs to be mowed
11. A right
12. A long in tree.
13 B horshoe short, A long will be an elevated target. Waiting on dirt to be hauled in .
14. A long, Why not?
15. A left on hill. B never happened, too hard. Might never happen, still too much in the way of 18's am pad.
16. A. ain't no B
17. B left and short, But could get talked in to A long
18. A , ain't no B.
Thoughts?
2. Install number "plate" and next tee signs.
3. Mark arrows and numbers on ground with orange paint.
4. Throw some everloving disc at them there targets!!
Next for Back Nine
[
1. Gather all the old tee markers from the original nine that won't be used. Some are by storage shed, some on course. Re- paint. Install. Coordinate with auger.
2. Mark location of tee sign poles. Coordinate with parks, schedule auger, set poles.
3. Hmmm? What else? What do we need to put on the back nine list??
Front Nine.
More work days. Prune, and cut. Woo HOO!!
