Work Day this Saturday. Rain or shine!
One Task. Clear the fairways for 6,7,and 8. Scott and others have gotten a lot done, but we can finish this in ONE day.
Two Shifts. Come when you can, but you aren't expected to stay all day. First team works from 9-noon and and second team works from noon -3.
Bring gloves, pruners, sling blades, string trimmers.
Post here if you can make it.
Email me if you can bring a chainsaw. CrockettDiscGolf at Charter.net
Thanks, Ron Pittman

I'll make it. I'll try to have my chainsaw working by then. Whoever else comes, don't forget to bring lots of LIQUID REFRESHMENT.

If I can convince a friend they really don't need my help moving into their new house, I'll be there with a few implements of lawnstruction. -Jeff

I am new to this board (and disc golf for that matter) , but would still like to help out this Saturday. I've got to check with the other half before I know if i'll be there for 1st or 2nd shift. Glad to see a new course coming together around here.

Henly, tell your other half that all of us are Gentlemen and Scholars. You could be in much worse company. Looking forward to meeting you.

Hey Disc People. Sorry to report I'll be on a project until OCTOBER in which I'll only be home for 3 days. There goes my summer. I have no idea how much progress will be made by then but I'll return for disc duty around Oct 11th. Just when the brush starts to recede.

Well, what can I say?? I had hoped for a larger turnout, but hole #7 had to be satisfied with the Dave & Ron Show.
The tee pad looks like it will be off of the walking path. 2 placements.
One that Scott has cleared that is rather straight with a slight right hand turn. All uphill. Has some trees near the end of the fairway that are coming close to being not fair. Not yet sure how deep the pin will be. The jury will decide.
2nd placement is also uphill with a decently tight right hand turn. Its a crank to get there, but leftys and flicks with some D can reach it. The early trees are tight, the turn is mean, and anything off the fairway will be bad news. I think I like it.
Hole 7 needs about an hour of pruning and 3 hours of brush dragging to finish. We have two piles started.
