Good weekend. Thanks to all who helped.
#7 is almost finished. Chainsaw the stumps and a bit of slingblading is all that is left.
# 8 needs a bit more. If all you have time for is dragging brush to the pile, then come on down!
Be sure and post if you are going by the course. It might encourage a leaner to come join you.
Baskets and signs are being ordered. Won't be long now.
Thanks, Ron

Al got most of the brush that was already cut on 7 and 8 hauled to the pile. Thanks!!
Remember, if you are headed to the course for a bit to prune, etc, be sure and post here so others can choose to join you.
Should probably finish 8 before we head to 6.
Note on 8 fairway. If you have an uncontrolable urge to prune; 1. Leave the stump 6-12" high. We will cut off at ground level later. 2. The trees on the edge of the fairway are marked with green ribbon. Cut the brush between those boundaries. I will fine tune later.
Thanks, Ron

Looks like, Al will make it also on Sat am.
Don't let the rain slow you down.
I usually leave a workday soaking wet anyway.
See you in the morning.

Let me know when youo are done, and then I will come play it. LOL.
Seriously, I'm sorry I haven't been around much to help out. I have been out of town a lot lately. I have been gone since Wednesday and will not be returning until next Friday. As soon as this big project is done in East TN, I plan to join in the fun. Thanks to all of you that have put in so much hard work on making this course a reality. I want to say a very special thanks to Ron for his vision, and also for his extremely hard work in to making this course what it is. Next time you see him, please give him a very big pat on the back for all of his hard work. Thanks.

Thanks Todd, I wanna play, too.
#8 is getting close. Mostly some saw work (hand saw) on a ladder to get the limbs in the throat of the hole. Landing zone looks good.
Looks like when we get thru with 8, we will do a DR Trimmer Marathon. We can rent one at HD for about 50 for a day.
If we could get a crew of 2 or 3 in shifts we can clean up the whole course in one shot. I''ve seen this machine kick butt. It will totally change the course.
Thoughts???

Ya'll want to schedule a big sho' nuff work day for Saturday the 11th??
Don't want to mess with Sunday. Skeeter Heeter.
I promise to do all the hand sawing so the guys playing the heater won't hurt their playing arm.
