This is the update I have posted in several places on the course.
Crockett Park Disc Golf Update 10-17-07
· We are glad you have found the beginnings of this course. All 18 holes now have targets.
· You might still have trouble navigating from hole to hole because all of our signs aren’t up yet. Bear with us; the course is not officially open just yet.
· Several navigation signposts are in, more to come. Look for them between holes.
· You might like to know that the funds for the targets and signs are coming from the Brentwood City Parks and the fundraising efforts of Leadership Brentwood. We will always be grateful.
· All of the installation (clearing, pruning, design, etc) has been donated by volunteer players. No small task. We will always be grateful.
Completed Course Is On The Way. Here is what to expect;
· White Tee Area – For the Advanced Player – Over 7000’
· Red Tee Area – For the Newer Player or Quicker Round – Over 5000’
· Multiple Pin Placements. Will rotate from time to time. Watch for changes.
· 4x4 tee markers have been installed on all holes.
· Tee signs are coming soon. Maybe by November.
· Navigation signs between holes are almost finished. Look for post with arrow.
· Kiosk Sign, benches, trees are coming next year.
· Concrete pads are possible. Depends on volunteer involvement.
We Invite You To Connect With Local Players
· WCDGC (Williamson County Disc Golf Club) is in its beginning stages.
· You can help with our Starter Fund for installation expenses.
· You can volunteer your time. Always plenty to do.
· Bag tags, clinics, website, monthly tournaments, etc are coming soon.
