Ben, welcome.
I've only been to Fly once. 'Bout 3 miles just past where God lost his left tennis shoe.
What kind of work? Guide us.
I'll get with you later in the week to play some.
Ron

I'm just looking for something full-time. I like to work outside, whether its landscaping, construction, painting, or any other manual labor. I don't have a degree, but I am very trainable. I would appreciate any suggestions.
THANKS widspredpanik@hotmail.com

Ben, here's a post from the Nashville Ultimate board. This was a month ago, but this sounds like the type of work you are looking for. I don't know this guy that well, but I know he's in construction and he seems like a good guy and might be able to hook you up:
"Hey fellas. I have quite a bit of work lined up the next couple weeks down in Franklin if any one wants to make some extra $$. This week is inside so shouldn't be too hot and next week is pretty much shaded all day.
Give me a call if your interested. 615-517-5080 It's my work cell phone so just ask for me.
Thanks, John"
Good luck.

I'm also going to be moving to the Nashville area ... maybe next summer. I'll be looking for a graphic design job. I've got a resume posted on craigslist.com for the Nashville area.
Loads of graphic design experience, illustrator, writer, magazine design, and much more. Probably way over qualified for some of the jobs I've seen in the area, but that's OK, I'll consider all opportunities. I may end up doing freelance, or starting a new design studio.
Hopefully moving to the Franklin area.
My PDGA# 25488 ... been playing some tourneys in the last few years. Had to take it easy this summer because of shoulder/hip discomfort, but it's getting better. Will be stepping up to Pro Grand Masters next year if all goes as planned.
Post if you see or hear of any businesses looking for a designer/artist.
I'm also moving to TN from Colorado, Carbondale, near Aspen. I'll be keeping the house here!
I'll be in Thompson Station for Christmas, maybe I'll see some of you out on the course over Christmas?

Boneman, I hope all your plans fall into place. Looking forward to meeting you. Several of us are in TS already.
Don't know much about the graphic artist scene, but publishing is huge in Nashville.
And if none of the young wusses will play in the winter, let me know, this fellow old fart can handle it.
Pro GM is typically a very small/not available division for most tourneys, even most C tiers. Some of the B's have a showing. Pro Masters is usually more common, but the comp is some of the best in the country. Not a bad thing, just the way it falls.
Keep us posted on your arrivals.
Oh, and if you ever need someone to check on your house in Aspen, just let me know.
Ron

Hello guys! My name is Danny Gregory, I started playing disc golf a couple of months ago and I absolutely love it. I am very glad that I found this chat room. I found this while checking around to find out about progress on Crockett Park and stumbled upon you guys. Our office in Cool Springs behind Best Buy, so when I got a chance to get out of the office I will play a round at Crockett. How is Crockett looking by the way? Also Ron, I live in Spring Hill and a couple of us play at Henry Horton alot of the time. I would like to talk and play with you sometime. Thanks danny

FYI, after finding out that I was considering moving to Nashville, I've been offered a 50/50 partnership at the design studio where I work. I'm seriously considering this, and IF it can happen, I'll be staying here in the mountains. We'll see how it goes.
I will still be visiting often though, and would love to hook up with you guys and play some DG. Nashville is still one of my favorite places to visit and play.
The leg is healing well, and I'm hoping to get out and about in about a month. Trying to make some of my tournament plans now, and build up the "entry fee" account. Playing pro this year is going to be expensive, but I have some sponsorship plans in the works, and the business that I work for (and may own) is already committed to sponsoring me.
