Saturday, May 3rd
1 pm. Meet in the parking lot.
Need gloves, water, pruners, string trimmers, sling blades, machette, yard rakes, 1-2 wheelbarrows, 1-2 shovels.
I am asking anyone who thinks of Crockett as home (or second home) to consider donating one afternoon to work on the course.
If you can't make this particular work day, please look at the thread "Course Project List".
Thanks, Ron

Ron, I work from 4pm-12mid on Saturday but will be there earlier in the day. Probably that morning (no soccer to coach). I'll give my 2-3 hours, just not sure what time (~10am). I have pruner, tree saw, weed eater, sling blade, pickaxe, and rakes. I will start on #3 with the pickaxe to remove roots, etc on tee box. I am then going to head over to #7 and finish what I started on "junk" removal. Then move to #8 for more of the same. See y'all there.

How's that for flexibility?
Don will lead the 10 am crew - and I will be there at 1pm.
Just like the suit salesman at S&K says," tell me sir, which one do you like best?"

Haven't seen you guys in a while. My boys and I have enjoyed the course a few times. Thanks for all the great work. I'll be there sometime on Saturday.

Whew! This is our first spring -- and the spring growth is just plain mean.
In the ongoing battle for dominance, we are barely winning. Got a lot done today. You folks are going to like the work done on 3 tee, 4 target, 5 tees, 6 fairway, 10 target, and 16 fairway. The odds of finding your mis-thrown disc has gone WAY up. You are welcome.
4 Clearing Projects left to do before the tournament.
1. SlingBlade # 8 fairway. 2. SlingBlade # 7 fairway (straight up the middle pin) 3. Cut up fallen and hanging trees beside 7-A target. Haul limbs WAY off in the woods. 4. SlingBlade the junk to the right of 18 fairway.
Let me know if you have time for one of these items. I have 2 SlingBlades for the tool impaired.
Thanks, Ron
BTW, the city will be doing some major bushhog work on all of our tree lines. I will walk the course when they finish and pick up the chopped up discs. Be more fun than hunting Easter Eggs.

Not much left on the "to do" list for Saturday.
1. SlingBlade # 8 fairway. 2. SlingBlade # 7 fairway (straight up the middle pin)
Most everything got done already. Even got baskets moved.
Thanks to John and Bob for putting up the ABC pin placement markers on the tee signs. Also installed numbers on the BACK of each tee sign (for the lost children). Good job.
