Is there any chance of Crockett getting a 'putting green'? Basically a hole right at the first tee where you can practice your putting for 5 minutes before you start your round?

Perfect idea. A spot just below the kiosk might work.
The tough decision is how to prioritize our club expenses. Tee pad fund needs to build to $4,000 if we want to pour them this August (when the ground is dry enough to drive on ).
In addition, we want to purchase permanant targets for our par 4 placements. #12 for example. That way you can play one of the rotating par 3 placemenst OR the long nasty 4 placement --- anytime.
In the mean time most have been using the #3 target for putting practice. Just have to deal with traffic. Better than nothing.
Benefactors welcome.

How much do you think it would cost to put a pin there?

$500 and you get change back. Or in Crockett Dollars --- 5 concrete tee pads.

Some designers will not put in warm-up baskets as courses with more baskets than holes tend to have more baskets stolen.
