I've just recently started getting into Disk Golf and now I'm hooked!! Is there a store around the Nashville area that carries a LARGE assortment of disks? Innova has come out with a disk called "Groove" and I really want to find a store that has it and other large selections. Any info would help! Thanks!

welcome to the club chris. as far as local retail stores, you have play in again sports, academy sports, thingy's. none of which really have the "large" assortment your looking for. if your wanting something specific and can wait for an order get a hold of Todd Lewis and his chainrattlers buisness (check out the classifieds section of this forum) he has great pricing on gear as well and for the couple of best websites to order are discgolfcenter.com (pick exact weight and color, and free shipping) or marshall street also has a great selection, although i have never bought from them. its hard to know whats going to work for you when you just get started. you can find lots of information and tips on dgcoursereview.com.........its a busy web site, but stick with it, you love it once you get used to it. theres a score tracker on there, photo of the day, course reviews, map browser, even a travel bag tag. good luck, happy hunting and we'll see you on the 15th

are you getting any grooves? Grooves, yes. Not sure what weights we will find available. Got a preference? I want to try a 165ish.

I actually bought two star drivers at REI in Brentwood for $17 each. Very small selection -- maybe 30 discs -- a bunch of wraiths, valks, stingrays and aviars. There's also a bunch of Innova discs in the gas station on the corner before Barfield. I think Play it Again has champion Groove and Boss for like $16.

The club has a nice selection of Champion Grooves, Bosses, and Sidewinders. Several other Innova champ discs. Champ plastic is $14. Also some pro plastic and some nice starter DX stuff.
Club store is open on Sunday at Crockett Doubles.

Of all the online places, the best I've found it called Marshall Street Discs. They have just about everything, in every weight, and in most colors. They claim 3-5 days shipping, 5 discs cost me 6 bucks shipping, and I had them in 2 days. The staff is awesome at helping pick out discs for certain throw types and if you describe a hole (crockett 12 for example) they will give you a heck of a lot of advice on discs for the situation.
Additionally, they carry a few limited and special edition discs, tourney discs, and represent a course called the Pyramids. The only lit night disc golf course in the country.
I smell road trip.
