"kid" This is "old school" disc golf. The idea is to put some teeth back into courses like Brahan Spring that have been overcome by modern plastic. I average 3-4 down with regular discs on that course and 5-6 over with super class. You get a disc that you can use in your player pack so I invite you to come throw lids with us. It will improve your short game and challenge your disc skills. If it will make you feel better you can use one of your modern drivers as a mini Flyer attached www.hsvdiscgolf.com/e107_files/public/1256653028_46_FT9267_the_alabama_super_classic.pdf

I think the Lt. Col. could take the KC Forum Sniper with ANY kind of discs, old school or new.
My money is on Matt. Using just his pinky -- he knows 8 ways to make a man disappear. Be careful Kid. Why do you think the Adv Master division keeps getting smaller? Most of us just let the Col. win anyway.
Brahan is a perfect place for SC. I'm already booked for a tourney in Ind. or I would be there.

Since most of us will be throwing Zephyrs I thought about having an accuracy contest at the end with a standard target and maybe 3 stations. What do you think?

Matt, You have always been good at adding fun stuff. Accuracy sounds good.
I'm still learning about SC.
The zephyrs in the player pack are how heavy? How flippy are they when you try to crank one for some big D?
I just put in a 9 hole rec course at a local church. It will be signed as putter/lid only course. I got to play it for the first time with targets yesterday (in the rain) with an aviar r-pro. Lot's of fun. Our plan was to use a bit of distance on a hole or two and it immediately becomes a pretty tough par 4. It worked out about right.
How did the scores fall for the last SC at Brahan?

The heavy (up to 200 gram) Zephyrs are actually pretty stable. They will hold pretty much whatever you put on them hyzer or anhyzer. Think big floaty Roc. One thing they won't do is "S" back to hyzer if you flip them. They roll great on that wide tire but wind affects them more than regular discs. Take a look at the Super Class division at the bottom of this PDF for an idea of scores and ratings during the "Free as a Breeze" tournament this summer. Round 1 was Mastin Lake, Round 2 was Brahan Spring. No one in SC managed better than +3. www.hsvdiscgolf.com/e107_files/public/1246481848_51_FT8467_faab_scores-ratings.pdf
