Oh, man, I gotta bail out. Bummer. I misunderestimated the gravitational pull of the honeydew orb. Maybe I'll see y'all on Sunday.

Keith, see you there, i'll be coffee'd up too!!
Dave, catch you next time.
Reminders, Park in lower lot behind hole 2 fairway, try to be there by 7:15, so we can try to tee off close to 7:30
bring an open mind, your walking shoes, and your arm. My hope is that this layout will cater to shot placement as there are not many duece opportunities, it will require a well placed drive AND upshot to score well
AND- though its not mandatory, remember to bring a little something for the prize box.
I dont think we have to worry about going over 12 peeps so i wont make a list, just show up and your in!
Im excited, this should be FUN, FUN, FUN!!

I was reminded of the long walk back to the car after 18, maybe we should just stay parked in the regular spots, we'll warm our legs walking to safar #1

Just curious. Why are you starting so early in the morning RD? I normally don't get outta bed till 7 to make the 9ams on Saturday morning. Good luck and have fun all.

I am starting early, as well as limiting this to 3 cards, to ensure our random play is out of the way of folks coming out to play the regular format. I didnt want to be throwing off 5(W) out to #3 basket while someone was trying to play the real #3. We should be done crisscrossing the front 5 fairways by 8 or so and well onto the back of the course while the regulars are just getting started. Believe me, Im not looking forward to getting up this early but I will be thankful when were done and I still have the whole day shead of me.
I based this on the fact that Crockett is really starting to get a large # of golfers on a regular basis.

I'm going to be a doubtful now. I really doubt I can get there by 7:30. There is a slight chance, but not a very good one.
The 7:30 start time is so that the crazy layout won't interfere with any other disc golfers. See how we will be playing several holes somewhat backwards, anyone on the course will think we're crazy.

Yeah, I was out there around 9:30 last Saturday morning and there were already 6 or 7 groups on the course...I think though it was quite a bit warmer early last Saturday than is anticipated for tomorrow morning, so hopefully that will keep those 6-7 groups in bed a little longer

Once again, lets all just park in the normal spots up by the soccer building.

Thanks James, yesterday was a blast.
Heres the scores. The made up par worked out pretty well. (as was on the card)
1) Becker 63 (-1) 2) Ron 64 (E) 3) James 65 (+1) 4) RD 67 (+3) 5) Keith 69 (+5) 6) Cameron (AKA-basket buster) 80 (+16) 7) John ?? (+fiction)
After looking through the cards, the ONLY hole we all scored the same was Safari 18 where we all scored a 4, and all inallthe only hole i would change was safari 5, but who doesnt like tossing down that hill?
Congrats becker, he took home a nice prize box with 3 discs, a hat, a nice starter bag, coupons, carmel northerner cakes, sticker......
andthe best part was watching becker AND Keith hit #3's basket off the tee on safari #4, both being the closest they've come to an ace on what would normally be the original #3. CLASSIC!!
Thanks guys, lets do it again sometime.......Safari take 2!!
