Well I'll reply to my own thread I stated since I went ahead and looked for this course yesterday and actually found it. There is a 9 hole short course over in Mount Juliet behind the providence shopping mall. The tee pads are very small and most holes are very short. It started out very promising on hole #1 with a 327 ft hole, but went down hill from there with a bunch of less than 200 footers in the woods. They also have the cheaper baskets with 1 set of chains. I'm not knocking it because at least there's a new course in the area but I think this is going to be a starter course to get people in the area introduced to the game and I bet they are planning on bigger and better things for the future.

Just saw your post ambroze. I have played it several times, and while it is true that it is a very short course with the smallest teeboxes I've ever seen, I am thankful that it is there. Being so close to Providence shopping center, it provides the perfect place to play a quick 20 minute round while the wife is shopping or on my way home from work. Best I've managed is 6 down on 9 holes, but I think with a little more practice, I can get that thumber hole (#6 I think). Just understand that it offers some unique challenges and enjoy throwing your putter off the tee on half the holes and you'll be just fine. Not every course has to be Crockett(Bossville as I like to call it). I'm always in favor of more choices in places to play and will gladly meet any of you for a quick round out there after work sometime.

Again I was not knocking it I was just hoping for a little more but they did a good job with the area they had to work with. I'll meet you up there anytime. I did a very quick play yesterday and was more of less checking it out and playing with limited time. Most holes seem like a very easy 2 except for #6, I put a 4 on it since I had no clue where the basket was
