The world of disc golf is entirely new to me, so I've been impressed to read about what is available in the Nashville area, and how active your club is.
My children go to a Montessori school in Nashville, and their teacher is interested in having the 5th-6th graders try out disc golf. Does anyone know if there is a place, within 20-30 minutes of West Nashville, where the kids could have some semblance of a lesson? There are about 18 kids in the class, but/and they are a well-behaved group. We also have no gear............?!
Thanks so much for your help.

I'll let our leader Ron respond to this idea. Not sure the best approach.
I do have several discs I could donate to the cause, a couple 150 class and a few others.

Hey Mom!!
What a great idea. Disc golf is very student-friendly. Exercise, outdoor activity, healthy competition, easy to master the first steps, and just plain fun.
I've taught several clinics/introductory rounds to Scouts, church groups, etc. Would love to package whatever you need.
I think I have enough beginner discs for an initial outing. Or we can ask them to buy one and bring it. Either would work.
Recommend something like a 20 minute clinic and a 30minute round of 9 holes. I suggest the first 9 holes (from the red/recreational tees) at Crockett Park.
Call me anytime and we can set something up.
