So this says "an alternative style of play"....I've seen another flyer which says Ultimate "with a twist", but no where have I found what this twisty alternative lifestyle may be.
In my humble opinion, if they expect teams to plunk down $100, they may want to explain exactly what sport is going to be played...

Hmm... I emailed Hunter, the contact guy. It seems he added "alternative style of play" to catch folks attention and get them to notice the flyer and call. He was happy we noticed and happy that I "called". I got the following info from the entry form. It seems that you register by team instead of one at a time. ------------------------------------------ Cost and Divisions: Tuesday Night Coed (Recreational) League--$100/team Entry Fee: Registration will be from August 18th through September 23rd. No teams will be allowed to play until the league fees are paid in full. Complete the attached form and send to: Indoor Sports Complex Attn: Hunter Eubanks 920 Heritage Way Brentwood, TN 37027 Fax (615) 370-3474 League Play & Tournament: • Teams will play a round robin format beginning the week of September 30th through October 28th (guaranteed 5 games). • Each team will receive WCPR league shirts at the end of the season. • All games will be played at the Crockett Park Indoor Soccer Arena. • Game times will be at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 p.m. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- It also made me wonder............ How many teams is he hoping to fill? Is there a WC residency requirement? Oh, nevermind, this is WC not BW. What is the co-ed requirement for the team? (7 and 5?) or the field? (4 and 3?) Since Becker would make a good handler, would he be willing to dress in drag? Does anyone want an old man that can't (won't) run on their team? Ron

I play ultimate some Wednesday nights with a bunch of young hooligans who shame me enough that I may as well be wearing a dress and heels. (A mansierre works well for DG too; proper cups prevent breastage flopping during strong drives.)
I also left a voicemail for Hunter with the same questions (minus drag). Probably won't play regardless, but thought it would be worth checking out.
