LWDBS (Last Work Day Before Sleeves) Yea -uh! This is it. One more workday and we can set the sleeves for the front nine. You are going to want to be here for this one. It will be a great story to tell your grandchildren. How often do you get to be a part of history?? Let's start at 8am while it is cool ;D - We will rotate turns on the DR Trimmer
- Pruning crew will escort the trimmer from hole to hole
- Finish up hole 6
I will pick up the trimmer. Already got sponsors. Anybody want to set up a FREE LUNCH donor after we get a number?? Thanks, Ron

And this time I mean it. No, really. All Williamson County soccer games were cancelled due to extreme heat. Apparently I have my Saturday morning free. See ya then.

Saturday Report.
The Stooges & the Marx brothers made it. More like the Magnificent 7. (+ one because John came later to haul brush)
Love that DR Trimmer.
Trimmed, cleared edges, pruned on 2,3, and 4.
Cleared and trimmed the new fairway for 5. (80' in woods)
Cleared and trimmed the new fairway for 6. Tennessee tight.
What is left to do before sleeves?
Holes 7 thru 18 -- Run the trimmer, prune as needed Holes 3 thru 8 - cut stumps to ground level. Need chainsaw.
Did I leave anything out?
Timing??? Well, we can't set sleeves, tee signs, or tee markers until it rains enough for the auger to penetrate the ground.
Since next weekend is Labor Day, what do you think about ?
RLWDBSBRLTULT WorkDay Saturday, Sept 8th, 8am ??
Thanks, Ron

I thought LWDBS meant the Warner Brothers joined the Mormon Church.
RLDBSBRLTULT was my father's great grandfather in Poland, except there's supposed to be a little mark over the S.
Ron got a birdie on #6. I couldn't get it past the first tree. If you hit the right fork of the wishbone, blame me, because I made them leave it. Ron wanted to cut it off and make the "Twister Sixer" hole really easy.

Yeah, hole 6 has trees growing up AND trees growing down.
When you see it you will appreciate it's new nickname, The Twisted Sixer. Dave, I suspect that complaints and praise about design will be plentiful. I will gladly share both.
