Everything is still on schedule to set the sleeves and tee markers this Saturday.
The city will have the Bobcat auger there. Very nice.
We need about 8 men, 3 post hole diggers, and 3 shovels. Gloves. Knee pads for the infirmed.
Should be done by 11 am if we have a solid turnout.
Still looking for 4 things
1. Anybody got 3 extra 4x4 posts for tee markers. I will cut and paint.
2. Someone to be responsible for putting targets together. They are at Crockett in a shed. Call for details.
3. Someone to get some signs on the course for better navigation. We will make it up as we go -- almost the same as having a plan.
4. Dirt. About 2 yards dumped around the pole on 13.
5. All the stuff I forgot, post here to remind me.
Hope to see you Saturday, Ron
BTW, Got the trimming done last Saturday. Thanks to Ben, Marvin, Chris, Don, and Dustin. Ben got most of the stumps cut, at least until the Poulon quit.

I was sorta hoping for a good turnout. Hope you can make it.
8am in the front-nine meadow to the left of the soccer building.
I need 1 or 2 to meet me at 7am to distrubute all of the materials from my truck to each hole.
Also need one experienced person to lead the sleeve team. I will be escorting the bobcat auger around the course for a while. You can just haul the team and the concrete in my truck.
Don't forget that next week we still need volunteers for;
1 . Someone to be responsible for putting targets together. They are at Crockett in a shed. Call for details.
2. Someone to get some signs on the course between holes for better navigation. In the old days I would just nail a hunk of wood to a tree, but these days it is best to make nice to our hugger friends. Got any ideas? (I will take care of target numbers, and target "next tee" arrows.)
3. Dirt. About 2 yards dumped around the pole on new 13.
Sure would be nice to get these things knocked out, so we can stay on our 22nd target install date.
Thanks, Ron

Did it. Sorta blew the 11am prediction. Blew the 8 man prediction, too.
I figure it is a leadership problem.
Be sure and thank John and Dave the next time you see them. I know I did.
Thanks, Ron

Thanks Ron, Dave, and John! Unfortunately, we (Grant and I) were at a cross country meet where there were over 1000 high school kids all running for 3.1 miles. It was fun to see all the runners but I still would have enjoyed helping. Dave already made me feel guilty on not being there. Good job on the full days work.

Richard, We wouldn't be as far as we are now if it weren't for you and Grant.
We can take turns on getting a day off. Guilt is for the folks that are hovering like birds of prey waiting for us to finish.
But as a second thought, Dang it, I guess we will have to be nice to them , too!

Todd, Don't wanna hear it. The course design has a flow and continuity that you get credit for. Help comes in a lot of forms.
