I'm looking for a campground - state park, perhaps - that offers the following:
- Tent Camping - Disc Golf - Boating
Doens't seem so hard, right?
Henry Horton and Cedars of Lebanon don't have boating. Most of the places with lakes don't offer DG. I'm not sure how far Tim's Ford is from Shelbyville, but that may be an option. I'm willing to go as far as Bowling Green, and possibly Hunstville. It's for a few days in the first week of April.
Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.

probably farther than you'd like . . . Sandy Creek Park 400 Holman Rd Athens, GA 30607 www.sandycreekpark.com 706-613-3631 On Lake Chapman, opened Tues. through Sun., hours vary by season), park entrance fee is $2 per person (kids under 4 and seniors are free) and disc golf fee is $1 per person. This pleasant park has a beach, playground, fishing pier, tent camping sites, dog runs, picnic area, horse trails, boat ramp, hiking trails, disc golf course, seasonal inexpensive canoe, kayak and paddle boat rentals; basketball and tennis courts. Could also name one to fit the bill in both northern Indiana and northern Minnesota . . . ;D

Yeah. Thanks. Apologies for me not mentioning: The 2-hour-ish travel time will be by CAR, not PLANE.

Then you should check out Lake Cumberland State Resort Park. I'm not sure if that's too far for you based on where you are but this has great disc golf, boating and camping. We really enjoyed playing this course at night after boating all day (except for holes 11-13). www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=1442
