Under the knife

Many of you know that I had surgery yesterday on my ailing foot. The good news is that I am fine: recovering comfortably at home without much pain. The less good news is that the cyst that was removed was badly intertwined with the nerves in my ankle, which complicated the surgery somewhat. I am likely to have some loss of sensation in my foot for at least 6 months to a year, but the doctor is hopeful that I will eventually recover fully. I have a follow up on Wednesday; I will share more as I know it.
