For what it is worth; Liberty's overgrown undergrowth (like that?) has left a very small fairway on holes 1 and 2. The edges of hole 3 and the right side of hole 8 are thicker than normal. No real issues on the other holes. I might suggest starting on hole 3, throw both tees until 10, then play 9 and 10 reds for a full 18.
For what it is worth. Ron

If I could get a list of the finalized courses by Friday that'd be great as I haven't played several of the courses and will need to figure out how to get from A to B to ........H ;-)

Thank you very much, Ron, for the helpful suggestion. This is very valuable advice from someone who is NOT PLAYING!
Seriously, thanks. Another idea for Liberty would be to play just one tee on 1 and 2, then play both tees on the rest. I think that adds up to 18.
Ron, are you going to join us for a few courses? Shirley you can get away for a few hours first thing Saturday morning!
miles2go, you could just follow somebody who does know where he's going. Of course, if I had the sense to know where I was going, I wouldn't play the Crazy 8.

Sounds good - so far I've played 7Oaks, Sanders Ferry, Cedar Hill, Crockett, Liberty, and Sharp Springs so the rest I'm looking forward to playing - will be at 7Oaks by 6:00 on Saturday ready to play :-)

OK, the order of play is going to be:
7O, 2R, CH, SF, 3C, CL, SS, CP
Tee off at Seven Oaks at 6:00 am. Looks like the weather is going to be perfect! Bring sunscreen.

I order to get through the day faster I am bringing a couple of coolers - if people want to bring sandwiches to store in the coolers feel free to - figured grabbing a sandwich midday vs having to stop would be quicker

A splendid time as always!
Dave can fill us in on more accurate stats, but . . . finished course #8 about 8:50 - pretty dark for the last 3-4 holes only. . . breezed through the first two courses, then lost a bit of time at Cedar Hill due to some traffic on the course and some long looks for nearly-lost discs. Kind of playing catch-up after that.
Had at least 8 playing on every course; 9 on some; maybe one round with 10? No idea about scores . . . I'm sure mine was pretty normal (read: bad), but I did have an enjoyable few long putts go in . . . pretty sure it was Becker & James K battling for the title there at Crockett the final round . . .
Thanks to Dave & all those who made the 2013 Crazy 8 another roaring success!!
my feet hurt.

Would the owner of my feet please return them? The pair I woke up with this morning hurt way too much for me to claim possession of them. Good mercy.
Fun time, as always. Would've loved to come away with an ace or nine. Would've loved to have par for the day (without stipulations for par 4s, I think I came away at +6 for the day). Would've loved to have lights for my discs at Crockett, miracle sneakers that prevented blisters, and catered meals between courses. Even without those, 'twas one of my favorite disc golf days of the year.
Within the last three weekends, I've enjoyed RD's batch party, my son's 8th birthday (for which we celebrated playing DG at 7Oaks), and now the Crazy 8s. I'm not certain this is heaven, but I'm pretty sure there were moments yesterday I was delirious.
Thanks for putting together the Loco Ocho, Dave and Richard. I'll be back next year.

It was a great day! Probably the best weather we've ever had.
Good group of guys. No wimps, no whiners. Thanks for coming out and making the day a success! Many thanks to B Gill for directing traffic at Cedars of Lebanon.
Still adding up the scores. We have all the totals written down, but we're missing a couple of scorecards from 7O and 2R -- if you have them, please let me know.

Those who played the whole day played 145 holes (19 at Cedars of Lebanon). Richard and Dave played doubles.
Name: holes played, raw score, average per hole, average per round
Becker—145—439—3.03—54.5 R&D —145—441—3.04—54.7 Kman —145—451—3.11—55.9 Grant —145—465—3.21—57.7 Cam —145—487—3.36—60.4 Miles —127—450—3.54—63.8 Josh — 77—315—4.09—73.6 Don — 24—104—4.33—78.0 Nick — 18—74—4.11—74.0
Sorry we didn’t have more data for Nick: we’re missing some scorecards. He actually played the first three courses.
Thanks to Grant for keeping the scores. Thanks to Becker for figuring the averages.
