I had a few minutes and moved some of the targets. All of these are placements that haven't been used before.
4 - behind tree 7 - straight up the alley 9- under tower (now a par 3) 11 - up on the ridge 14 - shorter on center ridge
I also had the chance to repair some of the number buckets, next tee arrows, and some temp tee signs.
If anyone wants to clean up 17A (bike, wire, tree, etc) we can move that target, too.

Cool. I look forward to hitting this course again.
7 gave me a run for my money on Saturday, but it wasnt a bad spot.
The tower on 9 literally ate my disk (went right under it) but I managed to get it out.
4: So is that a Par 3 now?

Shorter hole 14--YES!
Ron, the work you are doing is amazing. Ran into some self titled 'pros' at Crocket a few days ago and they said the course was pro and would soon be there local favorite.
Kudos to you.

Steve, Yep. 4 A and 4 B are both par 3's.
The A placement at 476' comes in at a predictor score of 3.6 for a 1000 rated player. (which roughly means that on the average half get a 3 and half get a 4)
Which makes it a rather tough par 3, but a GREAT score spread hole.
( Pin A for the 900 rated player predicts at a boring 4.1 --- which means that on the average you get a 4)
B at 380' is a boring 3.1 for a 1000 rated player, but a beautiful 3.5 for a 900 rated player.
Most of the long settings are set for a great score spread for the higher rated player. That helps in winning the approval of the pro types.
The downside is that a great score spread for every pin placement and for every rating is not possible. So, we humans need to enjoy the shorter pins when they rotate around.
Thanks, Ron
