Several of you are aware of my mothers fight with cancer over the last 16 months. Last Saturday we were told that there was nothing more to be done for her medically. She passed away this morning. I appreciate so much the expressions of concern from my fellow disc golfers over the last year and all of the thoughts and prayers offered on her behalf.

Because of her long illness, I have had quite a bit of time to prepare myself for her passing and I am doing well. I'll see you on the course soon.
