Whoever the GURU of the project is... let me know when it's time to stack those things.

I guess that would be me. I plan to work on it this Saturday, March 1. I'll probably start at about 7:30 am, but there would still be plenty to do when you get there.
I would greatly appreciate anyone who has a fairly powerful cordless drill -- otherwise we're going to have to drill through those RR ties with a bit and brace (that's a 50-year-old cordless drill).

I'll be out of town on Friday until Monday. Classic bad timing on my part. I don't have a powerful cordless drill or anything witty to say either.

Cordless, smordless!
Any fellow golfers out there with a generator?? If Dave hurts his arm drilling, he will have a built-in excuse for bad golf for weeks.

Actually, yes. My RV has an Onan generator with plenty of power and an external outlet. So... if the stars align I could drive it over there and knock this thing out.

Yep, Right now my plans are to head for Crockett about 8am on Saturday. * Work on the tee markers on 13 and Alternate 13. *Hang some boards on 1 to hold flyers. A mini-kiosk. * Need to re-mark and re-stake the locations for tee signs. City says almost ready.
Then help Dave and crew finish the landscaping on 13 target.
Anyone else planning on coming?
Ron
BTW, that target on13 is re-ally tall? That's weird.

You probably already noticed the bench between the white tees for 1 and 4. It's someone's eagle scout project. There's already a roof on top. It just needs a big piece of plywood nailed across to become a great bulletin board.

Scott, You are right. The Eagle Scout bench is perfect for a kiosk sign.
Current plans are that another one will be built by hole 1 and a sign section added to the bench. (we have requested a bench by hole 11 and 7 also)
In the mean time, I will put something temporary up on the galvanized pole at 1.

Hope all you guys are doing well and getting a lot of play time. My PT is going well ... goal is to be back out playing tourneys by April ... might be May. I'm working hard, hope I can get down there to play again this summer some time.

Boneman, Actually the city has put in a new concession/Pro stand in the soccer center.
They carry several kinds of prune juice and you can rent walkers. They really got it going on -- you can even get the little tennis balls on the back legs in the color of your favorite sports team.
