I'm looking at the weather forecast and Sunday afternoon looks rather decent. I know the big game comes later, but Ryan and I will be at Liberty this Sunday. Come on down. We will try to play quickly. Ron

Anybody risking it today? I've not played Crockett in months, so I'd like to.

There were eight that showed for the postponed 5th Sunday Bag Tag. A splendid day with splendid folks! Try as we might, no one could wrest the #1 away from Craig Buchanan . . . final distribution:
#1 Craig Buchanan (51) #9 Keith Mason (52) #10 Jeff Jordan (53) #15 Linden Lantz (55) #17 Jim Becker (59) #23 Bryan Weaver (60) #25 Cameron Patrick (63) #27 John Wood(y) (64)
Jeff, Woody & I dragged Craig to the Fellowship Bible putter course afterwards, but even though Craig had never seen the course there we still couldn't take the #1 from him. No tags exchanged hands that round.
Thanks to everyone who made it! Glad that spring has finally reared its head!! ;D

I had a great time playing in 25mph winds with you guys. That was definitely an experience to remember, and I really enjoyed that church course as well. But I have to ask Mr. Pittman one question... Y U NO USE THAT POND?!? I don't know about the rest of you, but the first thing I thought when we pulled up to the course was "I hope we get to throw across it." And give Keith Mason credit. I made 7 birdies in that wind and still just ended up 1 stroke ahead of him. He is playing some rock solid fairway golf right now. Good luck to all my friends at BG this weekend. I hope you guys have a blast!

I hope you guys have a blast! Great shooting gentlemen. Pond??? Good question. The original design was the brainchild of some former youth pastors --- I only got to massage their plan a bit. As I remember, the pond was off-limits. I know for a fact that the area around it is not mowed. In a perfect world I wouold like to re-design the whole thing. In the meantime, I have made some tee markers that need to be installed. And I would like to adjust some of the tee locations before then. It started out as a putter/lid only course. I think that is because the pastors were old ultimate fellas. I am of the opinion that it should be re-done without t that restriction. We would have to leave the targets in their current place, but the tees can be moved almost anywhere (except near the house or the soggy boggy bottom areas) Ron
