. . . and speaking of the singles bag-tag round this coming Sunday at Crockett - this month we'll be playing from the whites. All whites.
Yes, hole 9, this means you too.

couple of things: The Sunday rotation is now on summer schedule . . . in other words, Liberty Park is out of the rotation until winter. We'll play Crockett doubles on the third Sunday instead of Liberty. The full monthly schedule can be found here: wcdg.proboards.com/thread/630/current-sunday-rotation-scheduleI will be out of town for the fourth Sunday this month. The singles bag-tag round will be under the direction of Mr. Jim Becker, and the format is up to him. I do believe he plans something different for you . . .

So you have sufficient time to decide if this is something you want to do:
No need to carry your bag for the next bag tag round at Crockett (May 25). One disc only. Reds. You get to decide whether you'll putt with your driver or drive with your putter. See you then!

Not sure if this is where I'm supposed to post this, if at all, but here:
Name - Tag started - score - tag left - disc choice
Jim Becker - 1 - 49 - 1 - Buzzz Jeff Jordan - 8 - 50 - 3 - Firebird Keith Masen - 13 - 51 - 5 - Linden Lantz - 5 - 52 - 8 - Aviar Taylor King - 3 - 54 - 11 - Jack Starmer - 11 - 54 - 13 - Buzzz Sean Morey - 15 - 54 - 15 - Truth Miles Jefferson - 21 - 58 - 19 - Meteor John Stowe - 22 - 59 - 21 Jac Charron - 19 - 62 - 22 Jonathan Meadows - 31 - 62 - 25 Troy Abruzzo - 25 - 63 - 28 Jacob Starmer - 28 - 78 - 31 - Comet
I'll update the Beckerlings' scores elsewhere because I'm a proud dad (who doesn't yet know their scores).

Looks like a fun day! Sorry to have missed it. Jeff, you probably could have taken the #1 if only you had played with your Monarch.

Since Liberty is out of the rotation until further notice, some of us suggested we try mixing in an occasional Sunday afternoon short road trip. Apparently, there are tourneys happening Sunday afternoons on a regular basis. To avoid those, I suggested some week we fill Liberty's gap and head a bit south and play Henry Horton. What say we try June 15? 2:00 at Horton? We can decide singles/doubles/stupidity depending on the turnout.
I don't get out that way often, but I assume the grass is kept reasonably short; if someone knows better than I do and that course is unplayable, say so and we can try somewhere else. I simply thought the shade might be nice during the summer heat.

A few ideas:
1. I remembered why I suggested Henry Horton for 6/15 instead of 6/22: I work most Sundays at 6 but I'll have 6/15 off. I'll work 6/22. So I'd still like to do 6/15 at Horton for the variety even though it's Father's Day. I'll be away from computers most of this week, but I'll check the boards Friday/Saturday to see if anyone else is interested in Hortoning it. If two suckers bite, I'll meet you there.
2. The recommendation was made to play Henry Horton on 6/22 for bag tags. Though my reputation for being late is well-earned, I'll have to see if I can do a round, drop the boys off at home, and get to my office by 6. This with the complete lack of legs I'll earn at the crazy 8s the day before. No promises.
3. In the interest of variety, I recommend a future doubles round at Crockett with a par 2 setup. Pros play from RED tees. Ams play from the WHITES, but their first two strokes count as 1. Worth a run?

edit: I guess I should read the thread before posting willy-nilly. I won't be making it next Sunday either place, so I'm ok with it.

I never know which thread to post this in, so will post it both places once again. Reminder: This Sunday the 22nd is a bag-tag round instead of doubles, and we will be playing at Henry Horton. Come a little early to get signed up. See you there!

This Sunday, June 29, is the fifth Sunday of the month, so we'll try something a little different:
Par 2 golf. Pros play red tees. Ams play white tees. Ams drive, then go to their drive and take another shot that counts as their first. Faux aces available.
(Hole 9, everyone plays from the reds.)
Tee time at 2:00. See you there.
